At a basic level an Orthotic reduces the load on soft tissue and controls foot function. This enables healing of injured tissue, allows more efficient functioning and most importantly lets you get back to be able to do what you want to do.

Orthoses can be used to treat a range of foot and ankle conditions. They can also be used for problems above the foot such as knee and lower back pain, if those conditions are exacerbated by poor lower limb mechanics or foot function.
